Haven Hills Receives Prestigious Fernando Award

On September 13 more than 50 area not-for-profit organizations from the San Fernando Valley were honored by the Fernando Awards for their service to the community.  Haven Hills was among the outstanding organizations to receive this recognition at a dinner at the Hollywood Globe Theater in Universal City.

"Since 1958, The Fernando Award has honored volunteerism and service in the San Fernando Valley.  For the 50th Anniversary, the award committee decided to honor the past Fernando Award Honorees and 50 volunteer-driven organizations who have made our community a better place.

Each year since the Fernando Award's inception, one individual has been awarded the highest honor for volunteerism.  These past Fernando Award Honorees represent the pinnacle of dedication and service to our community.
