Volunteer

If you share our concern about domestic violence and would like to make a significant difference in your community, we welcome you to join our team of dedicated volunteers. The satisfaction you'll receive by volunteering at Haven Hills will only be outweighed by the valuable impact you can make on society, as you help to rebuild victims' lives and stop the vicious cycle of abuse. Don't worry about not having enough time-we can accommodate all levels of involvement.

Donate Items

For the women and children in our 30-day Crisis Shelter Haven Hills provides everything they need including furniture, linens, food, dishes and cookware. When they leave, we may allow them to take some of these items to use to start their own households, thereby creating a constant need for replenishing. While we can always use dishes, pots and pans, small appliances and utensils, we have a limited need for clothing and very restricted storage space. Therefore, we ask that you call Refugio Sanchez, Facilities Manager at (818) 887-7481 ext 17 to discuss our current needs. For a list of items currently needed click here.
